Huh good point. I wonder how many Klingon players there actually are in comparison to Starfleet. (In Star Trek Online.)

And wouldn't you be happier constantly planning the demise of your superiors for your own ascension -- being the evil gamemaster from within the game? (assuming the game somehow allows that kind of strategy)

In my dotage, I'll write a book called "My Atheist Pants". My (5yr younger) sister predicted this when I was ~17, but under the title "Passed Sleaziness(es)". We debated if it should be "past" or "passed", if "past" would signify "beyond", and (if so) how "beyond" would relate to Nietzsche's "Beyond Good and Evil")

Yes, growing up with me was ... interesting.

At Olympic medal ceremonies, Bronze medalists are happier on average than Silvers. Bronzers feel they barely caught the bus; Silvers feel they barely missed Gold

I've heard that before. Is that the case even if they have been in the Olympics and won a medal before?

I doubt it would matter. Few medalists get to the Olympics by willingly accepting "second best"
