I don't want him murdered in his jail cell because I don't want anyone getting in trouble for it.  Also I think referring to him as a rabid dog is an insult to dogs.

Sorry to get all geeky, but I think that in some ways, death row should be a priority queue instead of just a straight-up queue.

Sad as it is there are guys who are a head of him who deserve to go a head of him.

I'm sorry if you disagree with me on this, but I believe that with certain acts, one gives up one's humanity.  Bernardo, McVeigh, etc., are all examples of this.

i agree with LOTS and prolog that he's no longer human.  he killed his wife (and child by killing her) for some blond twit. (and i'm probly the only person that doesn't think Little Miss Amber was totally innocent of the fact that he was taken).

that makes him psychotic, and possibly insane, but neither condition precludes someone being human. (and i'm not talking bioligy here either)

I have the nasty feeling that this sentence could be appealed, and the case will drag on and on for years longer. Please, make it stop, make it stop...

On what basis? That the jury was prejudiced by Scott trying to flee the country?

Apparently the marriage proposals to Scott have already started.  On CourtTV, it was reported that he's been getting a couple of hundred letters each week from women who think that he's innocent.

Then you have to decide what exactly does it mean to be "human"? A question which has yet to be answered definatively. Ask 100 people what it means to be human, you'll get 100 different answers...if not more.

IMO, the very nature of the crime shows that he has no humanity left in him.

I'm curious, do you think Hitler and those that ran the death camps are "human"? I certainly don't.

I think whatever humanity he had in him before is definitely stamped out by now.

Just thinking about the state of mind he would have had to have been in to commit these crimes makes my skin crawl.
