I got very bored last weekend. The weekend before, I got a three for two deal at Blockbuster, and bought Peacekeeper Wars, Chronicals of Riddick, and Get Shorty. My brother an I have our own little cult for Get Shorty.

Saturday I rented Pitch Black, Super Size Me, Team America(which sucked) and National Treasure, which was OK considering what it was, not made to be taken seriously.

I may perchase Pitch Black just to have the set. Decent action movies that don't require much acting, which is good for Vin.

Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' On Heaven's Door

I've seen it before but I just bought the DVD (at Wal-Mart no less  ). I'm still annoyed that they decided to call it Cowboy Bebop: The Movie in region 1 but other than that the movie is the same.

The Fifth Element

I love the singing of the Diva in it and the way they choreographed the timing of the singing with the action.  It's a fun, campy sci-fi movie.

The movie came out in 1997, but I didn't get around to watching it for the first time until maybe a couple of years ago.  From what I'd seen of pre-views, the premise sounded a bit silly to me when I first heard about the movie.  But after I watched it, it became one of my favorites, so I bought the DVD when it came out.

Little Otik

A brilliant movie by Czech filmaker Jan Svankmeyer about a couple who adopt a tree stump as a baby...it sounds very weird...but it's so good that I bought it on DVD!
