Orange is hard to read on anything that isn't navy or black.
I've got an odd technical problem which makes my cranky old monitor screen turn pink/purple-shaded (some days more so than others), so that adds to any strange colored-text legibility problems. Some of you have "Quote it in red! Quote it in orange!" (with appropriate colors) in your signatures, but it's difficult with this monitor to distinguish between red and orange. In fact, I can't see the difference today. *wants to slap monitor, but that wouldn't help*
But not to worry, i don't really care what colour you highlight stuff with, if I can't read it and I want to I can inverse it by highlighting it.
If I can't read it, I try to copy and paste it into a text document, which automatically gives me black text, yay.
