Really, I think we need a plaid color.  That way, it covers a lot of possible colors in the color-code, and nobody could take offense to it, because everybody would feel stupid getting mad because "somebody quoted me in plaid!"

I think we should think about this for at least a few minutes before dismissing it entirely and forgetting I ever said it. :)

Plaid would be much to hard for some to see with my dear, however much I love your suggestion, some people have troubles with *solid* colours, much less mixed colours like plaid ;)

I'm using Jaimie's Stormy Skies. Orange is hard to read on anything that isn't navy or black. But not to worry, i don't really care what colour you highlight stuff with, if I can't read it and I want to I can inverse it by highlighting it.

I've got an odd technical problem which makes my cranky old monitor screen turn pink/purple-shaded (some days more so than others), so that adds to any strange colored-text legibility problems. Some of you have "Quote it in red! Quote it in orange!" (with appropriate colors) in your signatures, but it's difficult with this monitor to distinguish between red and orange. In fact, I can't see the difference today. *wants to slap monitor, but that wouldn't help*

If I can't read it, I try to copy and paste it into a text document, which automatically gives me black text, yay.
