The ensuing discussion has been split, and moved to This thread in Exploring the Universe.

Thanks,

please let me add that this discussion was not supposed to be a discussion of the way Nietzscheans were depicted on the show but a look at the viability of various survival family/mating scenearios as they might apply to the Karasu in their particular circumstances in specific and  survival in general...

I do appreciate any and all thoughts on the subject

Should our thoughts on the subject be confined to that thread, or posted here?

Looks like from what Mod-Jid said, it's to be in that thread. Go figure.

While it does pertain to our game...

A discussion of the sociological/biological reasons why Nietzscheans mate they way they mate isn't really a topic for this forum, so much as a topic we might have an interest in answering.

Since its in a larger context, discussion as such should really go to the thread in EtU, while this thread maintains its stated purpose of coordinating things for the Karasu RP.

If you wish to make a Karasu specific remark, then by all means make it here.  But if you're discussing the topic of females taking multiple mates, versus males, that belongs more in EtU, dontcha think?

Now as to Chester I do need to know from the player if he's looking for a consultant fee as well as free repairs to the Grendal. I have a plan fro it in Operation:Fashion.

Sorry it took me a while to get to this. i really havent been reading this thread much :o

As to a 'consultant' fee. I think a modest consultant fee would be asked...tho not too large. Chester doesnt have much...

Well the reapirs  are not part of the fee. Call it for services yet to be rendered.  Now I need to know is Grendal slip capable?  I know it's primary format is stealth can it assume the electronic footprint of other ships and moniter and mimic signals as such?

The Grendel is slip-capable, yes.

As for its electronic warfare systems, it has enough power to mimic a ship up to twice its size though nothing more. It has extremely extensive communications suites that allow it to monitor almost any communication (decoding is a different matter) and it can mimic signals tho to a lesser degree than its monitoring ability.

It also has a modest weapons load (a missile tube, some AP cannons and PDLs) but not enough for it to really be a fighter.

It was designed for stealth insertion, escape, monitoring target communications and so on...

Cool this works with the plan.
Basically the plan is to mimic either a supply ship or smaller courier.

I've been talking to Shal, but want to make sure I'm clear.  The dinner that is happening now in the RP is just a small casual "family" dinner, and the real party doesn't start until the next day or so, right?

Lol, cool.

Okay, Military type folks, G, Griffin you guys, who wants to be involved in operation Fashion? I like what I've been reading so far, and hope to include Rommie and pretty much everyone who wants to be involved in it.

After all the festivities (party!) Haig will call a briefing.

I currently have down on the list:

Karma - Frontline operations camp and slipstream-capable fighter carrier
Aura to pilot Karma
Konoko weapons officer on Karma
Kyle,Bonaparte,Corin Apollo &Tarassen for fighter pilots
Chester lead Stealth team and anyone else, even if they are not in the military, can easily be woven into this. Just post here.

Or alternativly, if anyone on the list wants to be taken off, just post here too. I understand many of you will be wanting to spend some quality time with your new families! :D So just post on here to confirm/deny it.

But also just put that at the back of your heads. While Haig's not the most party going type, you guys should rock on! We deserve it.

While Shawntee would probably like to, with Chester going, she probably shoud stay behind, Osiris needs at least one of her security chiefs onboard.
