It is so sad that it takes a tragedy such as Hurricaine Katrina for the public to learn that the people that were in charge of FEMA and the relief effort are in those positions because they have ties with George Bush.  I know that those political kick backs occur with every administration.  However, shouldn't the Bush administration make sure that those in charge are indeed experienced?  With the lingering Supreme Court appointment, this frankly freightens me!
