I'm a pagan. I recognise christmas is unlikely to be the date christ was born (i mean, common. Lambs, at that time of year? I don't think so.).

But it doesn't matter.

If someone wishes me a happy christmas, kwanza, solstice, hannukah or any other celebration I have a hard time spelling, I usually answer 'thank you' and wish them it too.

why?

It does not matter what day they are wishing me. they are wishing me happy. That's what matters.

I can't be offended by people wishing me happy, regardless of denomination.

Anybody know if O'Reilly has EVER printed a retraction?
The future is better than the past. Despite the crepehangers, romanticists, and anti-intellectuals, the world steadily grows better because the human mind, applying itself to environment, makes it better. With hands...with tools...with horse sense and science and engineering.
