I saw this on the news last night, apparently the rich folks in the gated community don't want to have their view disturbed by all those unsightly trailors. Can't they relocate it across the street or down the block? God forbid they have a view to the riff raff that lost EVERYTHING while they were fortunate enough to have survived the storm with THEIR homes in tact. The very fact that these people would sue over this should embarass them for being such incredibly selfish, snobs. Oh and Nagin, he needs to GO. Apparently FEMA is just supposed to up and move those trailors to appease the rich folks (nevermind it took over a million bucks to get it set up in the first place).

I've read of other situations like this in NO in the last few months.  There are have been other times FEMA trailers haven't been put in an area FEMA wanted to put them in but locals blocked it for one reason or another.  One instance were local people who didn't want a whole park full of trailers near them.  One reason given was, where would their children play if the park was full of trailers.  I don't know if Nagin was involved in that situation or not.
