And there you go. The judge ruled that she had to take the veil off for the picture.

^ I think the judge made the right call, but there is one thing from this article that I don't agree with...


"Nothing is more important than making sure that our people are safe, and (Thorpe's) good logic in making sure Floridians continue to be able to be safe is very, very important," Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist said Friday.
Nothing is more important than safety?  I beg to differ.

Here's a question...

Say this woman is pulled over for some minor infraction...

Officer asks for license/registration/proof of insurance...

Officer compares unveiled woman on license to... A veiled face.

Would the officer be able to ask her to remove her veil, or is this another lawsuit waiting to happen?
