well I dont have any of them, 'they are people too' and all that rot,
but,
I really dont see any of them being 'more right' for president than Hillary (hell, just how DO I spell her name, is it Hilary or Hillary or Hilarry or hilarious???) ~ and dont get me wrong, I dont think just because she was in the white house for eight years, or because she met almost Everyone (capital E) or because she's a lawyer who worked with some shady financials in ARK (oooooops), or because she made senator in NY without having had much to do with that state but buying a house in Westchester (izzatt an ooooops?) .. makes her peeeerrrrrfect for PREZ . even though I really really do need to read her book.

~ I do think she does a fairly good job as senator, she's larned a lot about politikin, she speaks well, she meets major playahs well, she hires good writers and PAs and coffee pourers and advisors and all that Staff Jazz; she mostly has her head in the right place, in terms of matching up political priorities with .. me ~ I just dont think, and this is a huge problem in USA Today (pun)(the national paper, oh fergit it) : I just dont see anyone (willing or able to run) being a ton MO BETTAH for it .. than she.

so I say, Clinton/Obama (and no more Osama jokes from Rep's pls) for 2008
:harper:
"(Do you read what they say online?) I check out all these scandalous rumours about me and Elijah Wood having beautiful sex with each other ... (are they true?) About Elijah and me being boyfriend and boyfriend? Absolutely true. We've been together for about nine years. I wooed him. No I just like a lot of stuff - I like that someone says one thing and it becomes fact. It's kind of fun." --Dominic Monaghan in a phone interview with Newsweek while buying DVDs at the store. :D

Representative Tom Tancredo, another long-shot G.O.P. candidate, tells me that after a debate in New Hampshire, one of his staffers walked up to a guy in a shark costume and asked him if he was a Ron Paul supporter. "No. They're all nuts," replied the shark. "I'm just a guy in a shark suit."

Not sure if it's relevant, but I'm dressed like a sea horse right now....

ROTFLOL! :howling:

Joe Biden would be my choice, but he won't get the nomination.

The future is better than the past. Despite the crepehangers, romanticists, and anti-intellectuals, the world steadily grows better because the human mind, applying itself to environment, makes it better. With hands...with tools...with horse sense and science and engineering.
- Robert A. Heinlein

When I don’t understand, I have an unbearable itch to know why. - RAH

Everything is theoretically impossible, until it is done. One could write a history of science in reverse by assembling the solemn pronouncements of highest authority about what could not be done and could never happen.  - RAH

Funny, but I've always pictured you that way....

Seriously, Caith, I think you should write an "Ode to Ron Paul." You could (and should) achieve Internet celebrity status with it. :)

"Although health care enrollment is actually going pretty well at this point, thousands and maybe millions of Americans have failed to sign up for coverage because they believe the false horror stories they keep hearing." -- Paul Krugman
