OOC: Yup, it's a dinosaur. Have fun! And yes I have thought this through. I know just how it got here!

Cain was silent for a moment
"That may be the wisest option Captain.....I would endanger your mission....but if you have need of me, you have only to call and I will come"

"Uh... I think we should run,"
She knew she agreed, but her limbs wouldn't do what they were told.

"Yes, let's do that!" she said, grabbing April's arm as their doctor seemed a bit frozen in place. She grabbed the medkit from the ground and shoved it at the doctor. "Surely it can't follow us through the jungle...maybe we can lose it!"
Without waiting for further "encouragement" from the massive creature that rose far above their heads, Erica also shoved a Perseid to get moving and began to run. "Lead the way, Athea. I, for one, really want to reach that city!"

"We're recieving a hail." Dawn announced. "Put it through-close on me I don't want them seeing Cain." Sally added hastily. An image of a male Nietzschean dressed in leathers appeared onscren. "Captain Elessedil, I didn't think you would come. I am Jase Krell." He introduced himself but Sally could hear the scorn in his voice as he addressed her. "We have prepared a place for us to meet if you'd be so kind to meet us down there." She nodded. "Of course. See you down there." She responded and the communication ended. "Dawn, have Kaytee, Tommy and Daze meet me in the drop-pod bay." The AI acknowledged and appeared before each crewmember with her instructions. Sally meanwhile got herself ready and headed down there.

"Run, April! Run!" she shouted. Erica really didn't want to be eaten by this thing. Her heart was pounding and her breath coming heavily, despite her enhanced physical strength.
Cain would be very disappointed if she, a Nietzschean, died as nothing more than a meal. There would be no honor in that.

"Great, I was hoping I wouldn't have to go down there!" She mumbled when Dawn disappeared. If it was one thing she hated being around-it was Nietzscheans-especially Dragans, cosidering the time she spent on Earth.
She grabbed her portable toolkit and went to the drop-pod bay still mumbling under her breath.

"Hit it again!" she screamed to Athea. "Get it off me, please!"

"Not...go...going...to make...it," she barely mumbled. "Hurts..."

IC: Teyna paused as Erica was almost eaten by the creature. She wanted to help, but Athea was already on top of it. She was able to injure the creature and get Erica out of there. They kept running.
Athea kept pace, a few metres behind the others. Through the jungled they chased until they started reaching a few outbuildngs of the city.
"The city's just up ahead!" Teyna exclaimed. "We can try to hide from that... thing."
Athea continued her pace with unrelenting strength and focus. "Try to locate a strong building with doors too small for it to fit."
Around them now the mud was giving way to metal streets and walkways as they started into the city. Behind them the T-rex roared again and metal screeched with it's claws as it ran.
Teyna grimaced at the sound the creature was making as it ran on the streets. She quickly looked around, and spotted a building that fit Athea's description. "There!" she pointed.
Athea followed the direction of Teyna's arm. "Good enough." She agreed, looking at the low, squat building.
Looking back on the others, Teyna called out, "head for that building!"
Behind them one of the Persieds moved too slow and the T-rex had another meal with a scream and crunch of bones.
Athea continued on until they reached the building, to the thick metal doors that were locked shut...
Teyna gasped. They were almost at the building... she hated to think it, but perhaps the creature's latest meal would distract it long enough for them to reach safety.
Athea gently, carefully lowered Erica too the ground and wrenched at the lock that kept the doors to their 'sanctuary' shut, snapping it.
But the T-Rex advanced on Teyna with mindlessly stupid hunger in it's eyes....
"Uh oh," Teyna said under her breath. The creature was coming towards her. She needed to distract it from the others so they could get inside... she started running in a different direction, away from the building.
"Crap, I should have thought this through more!" she yelled. She dodged through the buildings, trying to find one that she could hide in.
Athea pushed the doors open and picked up Erica before carrying her inside then laying her down on the dusty floor. "April, stay with the Persieds and help her."
The T-Rex kept pace, following her between buildings and along streets, ripping at whatever got in it's way as it got closer... and closer.... until it was practically on top of her....
Teyna looked around. She was running out of time. She spotted something that looked like it used to be a transport vehicle. Heading towards it, she managed to dive in just in time.
The T-Rex followed her, then started clawing and biting at the vehicle, growing more and more frustrated as it inched in deeper. It wanted this prey.
Athea came up behind it and whistled sharply to catch its attention.
The T-rex turned and tilted it's head slightly to compensate for it's damaged eye and recognised her. Angrily it turned and started chasing after the avatar. "Lucky it's a big, dumb brute." She said as she turned and started running.
Teyna sighed in relief as the creature turned away. She looked out and saw Athea leading it away. She knew Athea could take care of herself, so she got out of the vehicle and ran back towards the building.

"There! Head for that building!"
John growled at a Perseid who seemed ready to run down the wrong street, away from the building Teyna had indicated. The Perseid shied away from him, eyes wide with incipient panic, but headed for the right building with the others. He turned, "Run!" he bellowed in Perseid at the trailing member of their party. "Run, damn your- aw, crap," he finished in Commonwealth Standard as the tyrannosaur proved quicker than the Perseid.
It wasn't until Athea had broken open the door and left Erica to April's care that he realized Teyna had broken away and drawn the tyrannosaur after her.
John drew his forcelance, disabling the safety interlocks and setting it to overload as he ran. "This way!" he sent to Athea as the creature turned away from Teyna and began chasing her. The other avatar ran towards him, the tyrannosaur in pursuit. John switched his pistol to automatic fire and fired a burst at the creature's good eye. The tyrannosaur's jaw opened in a roar of pain and anger as at least one of the bullets struck its remaining eye; John threw the forcelance, the rapidly overloading weapon spinning end over end as it headed for the creature's gaping maw.
