Breaking news-large tornado hits Springfield, Massachusetts. Lots of damage, injuries as well.

Any Ex-Islers in the area, please check in. This is the first twister to hit the area since the mind 1950s.

Wow - I didn't know tornadoes ever hit that part of the country.

My daughter's old school friend who moved up there last year is okay but more than a little freaked out per his text messages.

News update-there were TWO tornadoes, and 4 people are now dead. The governor has declared a state of emergency, calling a thousand National Guard troops. Extensive damage reported.

There were tornado warnings from PA all the way up into Maine.
