Hi there

TVLine's Michael Ausiello has the very reliable intel that ABC is on the verge of announcing its early renewals for fall.

The following shows will be renewed:

- Revenge

- Once Upon A Time

- Grey's Anatomy (negotiations with the cast are still ongoing,  though)

-  Modern Family

Pretty much certain are also the following:

- Happy Endings

- Suburgatory

- Castle

- Last Man Standing

- The Middle

Shows that won't be on the early list, and remain in question up until the upfront, are:

- Private Practice (might depend on how new Shonda Rhimes drama "Scandal" performs)

- Cougar Town

- GCB

- Missing

Shows that are most likely done after this season:

- Body of Proof

- Pan Am

- The River

Keep this thread bookmarked, as it will be updated as soon as things become official.

Didn't cougar town make a syndication deal, this substantially upping its chances of another season (as it's owned by Abc studios) or am I misremembering that?

Darn, I like Body of Proof.  It's not one of the greats, but it's entertaining.

Oh, well.  If they cancel it, then maybe Jeri Ryan can show up on Leverage more often.

No, there is no deal yet, as far as I know. It's just that another season would probably up the chances that such a deal could be struck. Question is, what will serve ABC better? A deal over renewing a struggling series, or having the space to possibly launch something more promising? It might come down to how good a pilot season ABC has.

glad to see Once on the auto-renewal list.

Castle should be on it too....it's always pulled pretty high ratings.

I love Body of Proof.   I also love Unforgettable.  Fortunately thanks to recording devices I can have both - at least this season.

My faves seem safe. I don't mind Body of Proof but can certainly live without it.
