Stargate: SG-2. Part 2 Rated R

Now they were right outside the room where the gate was and Nayette was certain that there was a trap laid, which he agreed was a possibility since their escape and the death of their 'god' was known. They would definitely try to capture them as they attempted to use the best means to leave the ship and they couldn't afford a prolonged battle to get off or else they'd be caught in the explosion.
"Depending on how many are waiting in there, it still might be our best way out." He offered. "But we don't have much time to decide if we don't want to get caught up in the coming explosion."
Eva stayed close to Nayette and the other prisoners to help defend them should they need it, and she was relieved when they made it to the room where the gate was being kept. However, Nayette seemed certain that there was a trap waiting, which she had to agree with, since the way seemed too clear and easy. Anytime something looked too easy, it generally wasn't. "How long would it take us to get to the gliders?" She asked. If they had to avoid too many patrols to get to them, it might be better to go with what they knew, even if they didn't know how many Jaffa were lying in wait.

Andrea had decided the risk was worth it and lead SG-2 over to the doors leading to the gate room. She had Nayette, Joe and Eva wait on the right side of the door wile she, Keith, and Michaela waited on the left side. She withdrew a flash grenade from her pocket. "All right, we open the door and cover our eyes while I throw this in there. After it goes off, we lean around the door at different heights and take out the Jaffa in there whilst they're-hopefully-disoriented." She outlined her plan briefly then knelt down next to the door. She pulled the pin from the flash grenade and nodded to Nayette who pressed the door controls. The doors opened and she tossed the grenade inside then covered her ears and eyes. A moment later there was a bright flash and a small booms. Immediately she leaned around the doorframe and saw a squad of Jaffa reeling and covering their eyes. She remained crouched so Keith could lean over her and fire into the room and opened fire on them herself.

Eva nodded and checked her gun to make sure of how much ammo she had in the clip and went to the right side of the door to wait for Andrea to throw the grenade. When she saw her pull the pin, she covered her eyes and ears until the boom receded, then she leaned around the smaller Nayette, but crouched a bit to let the larger Joe get around her, then she started firing at the disoriented and blinded Jaffa.

Eva smiled when they were finally able to take control of the gateroom and then Nayette sealed them in. She remained with her while she worked the controls, and while Andrea dialed in and sent out her GDO. She then ordered Michaela, Nayette and the Rizolans to go through first, so she smiled at her friend. "Time to go home." She said, then positioned herself so she could help defend them while they were going through to Earth.

Surrounded by Lieutenant Colonel Sergei Ivanov, the team leader of SG-4, Captain Alex Babbis, and their team scientist, Karl Walker, Addison Parker stared around at her former team. They surrounded the much smaller young woman protectively, waiting with her for her current team to come through the gate. At least they hoped that all of SG-2 would be returning. Andrea had sent Addi back to Earth from the alien resort planet when things had taken a turn for the worst as Michaela, Joe, and a resident of the planet had been kidnapped by a group of Jaffa. Addi and Takari had delivered the gate address where their team members had been taken, but then they had been refused permission to return.
In fact, Addi and her symbiote had been put into service with their former team for a quick mission to the Tok'ra base.
But now they watched as the wormhole formed, activated by SG-2 on the other side. Addi and Takari watched breathlessly to see who would step out of the rippling, blue puddle of energy.
*They will all have survived,* Takari murmured in Addi's mind. Images of Andrea, Keith, Eva, Nayette, Michaela, and Joe flashed in their mind.
Addi nodded mentally as she pressed a palm to the window. *They will,* she agreed.

It sometimes surprised Nayette how much Stargate Command had become home for her. The Tau'ri had accepted her quickly enough into their ranks and she was adapting to their culture. She holstered her pistol the minute she'd stepped through the gate and then stepped aside to stand quietly at the bottom of the rank while Andrea gave a brief report to General Hammond. In truth Nayette was also pleased at how useful she'd been on the mission. Her time possessed by Seshat had finally been of some use in giving her a familiarity with Goa'u'd technology and culture. She smiled slightly as she saw Addi-Takari at the window above them and gave a little wave.

Eva walked through right after the Rizolans, Nayette and Michaela walked through the stargate. She was very glad that Nayette had been able to keep the doors closed so that they didn't have to worry about scrambling once the gate opened. She breathed a sigh of relief when she emerged on the other side and smiled when she saw Addi-Takari waiting for them. She walked down the ramp and stood with the others while Andrea gave her report.
Keith was very happy that they had all managed to get through the stargate without firing a shot. He well-remembered several times when they'd had to get through under fire and that was his least-favorite thing to do. He walked through practically at the same time as their leader, who had everyone else go ahead of her, and he smirked when she told Hammond about the booby-trapped ship. He almost wished he could have watched it, but just knowing that the universe was rid of one more Goa'uld and a bunch of Jaffa was enough to make him happy, for the moment. He didn't miss Addi-Takari watching for them from the control room, and he waved at her in greeting. Now, he needed a shower, food and some time to meditate.

Keith went to his quarters to shower off after they were dismissed from the gateroom, then he put on fresh clothes. He'd been amused at the happy expression on Andrea's face as she'd told Hammond about blowing the mothership. She seemed to enjoy blowing things up almost as much as Colonel O'Neill did, which was saying something. He went to the messhall and grabbed a plate of food and noticed that the three females had gathered at a table, so he went over as well. No sense eating alone if he didn't have to. "Ladies." He greeted as he sat down.

After a few days at the SGC, the adventures of SG-2 continued, mostly following what was outlined in the TV show but with some divergences given the Kilairi protected Earth from 'mundane' threats like the Goa'uld. In time the Kilairi terraformed Mars and made it the new homeworld of the human-kilairi hybrid race, the Kilaria. The two species would forever then on enjoy a close relationship as the Tau'ri mastered space travel of their own accord. Eventually the Stargate Programme was made known to the public but after having become used to having aliens in orbit, the population did not panic as the governments feared they would.
Andrea continued to serve as the leader of SG-2 for many years, eventually being promoted several times for her actions. Her exploits against the Goa'uld, Replicators, Ori and other threats became as legendary and necessary as the famous SG-1, as it did for the rest of SG-2. Indeed it was SG-2 that saved Janet Fraiser's life and she continued to serve the SGC as always. Andrea entered into a relationship with Luke Daly, eventually getting married to him although she didn't have children with him until after the Ark of Truth was used to deal with the Ori. She visited Atlantis on a few occasions to help deal with the Wraith threat but always returned to Earth. Eventually though Andrea did have two children, a son and a daughter and later in life she was promoted to General and assigned to be in charge of a second SGC on the Tau'ri's first official colony world. She moved there with her family and enjoyed a desk job there for her later years before retiring peacefully.

Nayette served as a part of SG-2 for many years, her scientific and engineering knowledge, in combination with the Goa'uld memories she possessed proved invaluable to the Tau'ri and her contributions to multiple scientific and engineering fields greatly advanced their overall technological level. Several projects like the hyperspace-capable fighters and the Prometheus were considerably more advanced than their TV counterparts. Nayette quickly discarded her old Drasnian culture and embraced the Tau'ri, often remarking that despite the spots on her skin, she considered herself Tau'ri. Eventually though the Drasnians did make contact with the Tau'ri and entered a full diplomatic alliance with them, and they offered her a place back on Drasnia as a top researcher. However Nayette declined and remained loyal to the Tau'ri. Even so much that she eventually entered into a relationship with a civilian archaeologist working at the SGC named Kyle. They married and eventually had a daughter. Nayette served in SG-2 until she felt age catching up with her, then settled for working either in the SGC or Area 51 helping to develop new technologies that came from alien devices brought back from offworld, balanced with a family life raising her daughter. Although Nayette did officially retire, it never seemed like there was very long before the SGC called her back to consult on various projects. And, she was happy with that.

Addi and her symbiote, Takari, remained with SG2 until she was 40 years old, when it became obvious that most everyone around her was aging normally. With the introduction of the Tok'ra symbiote into her body, Addi aged at such a slow rate that it seemed as if she stayed the same to the people around her. She began to spend more time with the Tok'ra as a liason between them and the Tau'ri until finally she joined the Tok'ra full time on the planet Serac. It was too painful to see everyone aging; but also Takari had convinced Addi to get to know Samuel, the human host of Takari's former love, Jaxton. Addi and Samuel fell in love, while Takari and Jaxton rekindled their long term love affair.
Addi and Takari went on several undercover missions until she was invited to join the Tok'ra High Council, along with Jaxton. There is a long, perhaps hundreds of years, future waiting for Addi and Takari so long as neither is killed in action. By then everyone Addi knew on Earth will be long dead, and her life will have taken many twists and turns in the fight against the Goa'uld and other enemies. But so long as the SGC, or whatever form it may take in the distant future, exists Addi will continue to work with her home planet to help in any way she can.

Keith stayed with the SGC and went on many missions with Andrea and SG-2, later with her replacement and the replacements for the others once they retired. He continued going offworld even after the gate program became public. When Dr. Frasier and her medical staff developed tretonin, his almost-matured larvae was removed and he used the drug from then on. It was the answer to the prayer that he'd prayed almost every day since he'd been made a Jaffa.
He eventually found a mate during one mission, an augment, and the two of them lived and worked with the SGC and had three children, who all inherited an almost-normal immune system due to their mother's advanced immune system. There were two girls and a boy, all of them grew up and became part of the SGC in one way or another.
Eva continued to serve with the SGC on SG-2 for many more years. She also worked in the infirmary with Dr. Frasier and her staff when she wasn't offworld. She was relieved when a substitute for the Goa'uld larva could be found for Teal'c and Keith and now they could live lives free of the parasites.
She found a mate among the soldiers of the SGC one day and they had a family of two boys. When the stargate finally went public, she was happy to continue working in the infirmary, rather than go offworld. Her boys grew up and joined the SGC as well.
Eventually, she and her husband settled down on a small farm outside a small town, where no one knew about her and she was happy just helping her husband run the farm.

After returning from her second mission with SG-2, Michaela realized that she had not only gotten over the trauma of her experiences in Afghanistan, but had proven to herself that she was as capable as any of the other Stargate team members. She continued to serve with SG-2 for several years. While on a joint mission with SG-1, she and Daniel Jackson discovered the addresses to a Stargate network in the Lesser Magellanic Cloud, where the ruins of a great civilization of starfaring cephalods were discovered. Michaela was assigned to command SG-19, which was deployed as an archaeological mission to discover what had happened to these fascinating aliens. They discovered a new threat, an insect-like species with a hyper-intelligent but questionally sapient hive mind, that propagated its nests relentlessly, killing any dominant species in its way. Over the course of seven years, Michaela's team fought against the hive mind and ultimately contained it in its system of origin.
Eventually, a human colony was established on Beachhead, the first LMC world visited by Humans, and Michaela built a home there. She retired from the SGC, but never stopped having adventures. She never settled down with one partner, but was never at a loss for companionship. She lived happily ever after and died peacefully in her sleep with a smile on her face.
