While Starfleet tightens security measures on Earth, Sisko and Odo discover that Admiral Leyton is deviously plotting to take over the planet. (Part 2 of 2)

Changeling O'Brien: Let me ask you a question. How many changelings do you think are here on Earth right at this moment?
Sisko: I'm not going to play any guessing games with you.
Changeling O'Brien: Ah. What if I were to tell you that there are only four on this entire planet. Not counting Constable Odo of course. Think of it. Just four of us, and look at the havoc we've wrought.
Sisko: How do I know you're telling me the truth?
Chaneling O'Brien: Four is more than enough. We're smarter than solids. We're better than you. And most importantly, we do not fear you the way you fear us. In the end, it's your fear that will destroy you.
Sisko: Are you finished?
O'Brien: Finished? We've barely begun. I'll be seeing you.

In my not so humble opinion the entire story of Homefront / Paradise Lost should have been centered around this conversation. This is a island of awesome in the middle of a so-so two parter. It is as creepy as it needs to be, the idea of Changelings SHOULD be creepy. We should be terrified in this episode instead of watching Leyton be obviously evil as the mystery that isn't lurches to it's conclusion.

The question of giving up your freedom is interesting but it is delt with much better down the road. Here, the question is all to easily answered which makes it a little unsatisfying.
