From the New Yorker:

“What did you want to be?” a young man with a British accent—an authentic Oxonian—asked.

“I wanted to be an astronaut,” Clark said. “That was back when we had a real space program. We all wanted to invade the red planet, right out of Ray Bradbury’s ‘Martian Chronicles.’”
The Oxonian looked puzzled, and Clark asked, “Are you familiar with Ray Bradbury?” He was not. “Not a science-fiction fan? What about ‘Lord of the Rings’? ”
The young man nodded. “Tolkien was an Oxonian,” he said.

That's it, the dude's got my vote.   ;)

but also staked out a few policy positions—he criticized the Patriot Act, argued for an increase in the minimum wage, and strongly recommended a U.N.-inclusive foreign policy that would “take the United States off the blame line.

I need to know more about him, since that was all the article said about where he stands, but from here, he already looks better then the others.

I should look into this guy. Maybe he's one of those rare creatures: A Democrat I Could Actually Vote For. There hasn't been a sighting of such a creature in many years.

Although, when he says, “I have tremendous respect for guys like John Kerry and Howard Dean and Dick Gephardt,” I have second thoughts.  :p
