OK so let me go get a trailer coz this piece is not that,

so there I was watching OBlivion, and pretty fun movie, but then this is not the Review folder; seems to me though that what with his foray into future with Minority report, then his War/worlds, and now this pair, Cruise is re-inventing himself as a hero fighting aliens, the new Starbuck against the Cylons?

however, one little thing makes me squirrely about him, I notice that in every movie Tom is paired with a leading lady at least 15 years his junior; but then given 'that' town and the whole men in pictures thing, why should I be too surprised?
>' cinematic pulling power. So, given that Edge of Tomorrow has a much more action-y trailer and looks a lot lighter in tone (that said, something tells me that Cruise's character wants to squeeze the trigger on his gun more than a New Yorker fighting over a traffic ticket), so we'd be expecting around $350 million at box office worst... Right?

Well, apparently not. According to pre-release tracking...
... Edge of Tomorrow is based on the novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka and centers on Lt. Col. Bill Cage (Cruise) who finds himself caught in a time loop in a future war against an alien race. Cage relives his last day over and over, each time being killed. Through painful repetition and the training by Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt), he eventually becomes a better soldier ready to face the edge of tomorrow...

there is also a review, nj.com, Star, but ..................... avoid spoiler, read it laterz after the movie
:o - unless you can go to movies after you read reviews, like me

"(Do you read what they say online?) I check out all these scandalous rumours about me and Elijah Wood having beautiful sex with each other ... (are they true?) About Elijah and me being boyfriend and boyfriend? Absolutely true. We've been together for about nine years. I wooed him. No I just like a lot of stuff - I like that someone says one thing and it becomes fact. It's kind of fun." --Dominic Monaghan in a phone interview with Newsweek while buying DVDs at the store. :D
