SO - I finally bought a blu ray player.  But - I'm not in the market for a new tv until a few months down the line.  For now, I'm dealing with my old rickety, squeaky analog.  I already have a digital DVR player from the cable company (eventually want to ditch that but not quite ready to cut the cord), and it is already connected to the tv.  SO I'm of the opinion that I should be able to connect the blu ray player to the cable box, and then have the cable box send signals to the tv.  Yes? No?

IF NOT, then what do I need to do to make the blu ray player work? It only has HDMI connection, and my tv only has red/white/yellow connection (is that called rca?).

HELP!

Search online for "HDMI to Composite", those converters are likely to be your best options. The Blu-Ray player manufacturers have little incentive to include analog outputs on the players these days, and DVRs have no reason to include HDMI inputs.
