The Saviors visit the Hilltop unexpectedly, surprising everyone, with plans of taking more than supplies.

They didn't come to borrow a cup of sugar, I'm betting.

...nor were they backing up the Welcome Wagon or bring cookies. :) Poor poor Sasha, a fool rushing in where angels fear to tread. I hope it ends mercifully quick for her...no drawn out Negan torture porn.

And the revelation that Jesus is shy about meeting boyfriends. Very cool, Walking Dead. Another strong, cool, and collected gay character. Kudos.

Sasha appears to be doomed, which is not surprising, all things considered. But Rosita appears to have a bit of a reprieve, which does surprise me. I thought when she was making nice with Sasha that that was a sure sign of imminent demise. And who was that who she saw at the end?  Jesus?

I was disappointed that Eugene didn't accept rescue by the women, but I'm still not 100% convinced that he's with Negan.  Maybe he has a plan in motion and can't leave it half completed.

I liked the scene with Maggie and Daryl, hiding in the cellar. Poor Daryl has been blaming himself for Glenn's death, but Maggie is smart enough to know that it's all Negan's fault.

Well Sonequa does have something new to do  ;-)   This might be the last of our favorite sniper babe  ;-)

I hope she gets off at least 1 good shot, but i suspect we could be left with a cliff hanger as usual.

Maybe Neegan gets hit but not taken out, and we loose a few favorites, and the next season is all about the battle.

At this point they still havent sealed the deal on the junk yard gang joining the party.

I think Eugene will be a surprise in all this.   Now that he has integrated, he has opportunities to change things up at the right time.

Yeah, Sonequa has a new job, so her fate is kind of foretold.  :D

I cringe at the thought that they will try to outdo last year's cliffhanger.
