"Historical" Game Shows

What "historical" game show would you (or your ancestors) watch or appear on?
"Meal or No Meal"?
"The Reich is Right?"
"Whose Land is it Anyway?"
"Deal or New Deal"?
"Dancing with the Czars"?
"Win Ben Franklin's Money"?
"Match Game '78"... oh wait, I used to watch that one.
Let's fire up them ol' noodles and amuse me.
In truth, I've been deterred by repeated reports that the casting process has a lot to do with everything BUT how good a contestant you are: Do you blink too much? (Jeopardy's casting directors feel this makes the home audience nervous) Do you smirk before answering, as if the answers are too obvious? Is your normal accent/diction/vocabulary "too educated"? How do you dress/groom?
But I HAVE been on at least one game show (when I was 4, on WPIX in Atlanta) and I was supposed to be on Nova's 20th (25th?) Anniversary Game Show Special, but when they finally settled on a recording date (in LA), it conflicted with one of my med school finals (in Boston). I'm glad I didn't ask for an alternate test. That exam almost killed me as it was. I mistook a preganglionic axon for a postganglionic dendrite .

(That is so wrong on so many levels.)
Napa Valley Imbiber?
Caligula's Love Island?

(actually -- I think the show I'm thinking of was called "Treasue Island". But surely no one who remembers that LA show [dunno if it went national] could possibly have survived to this century)
Then again, I'm told that "To Tell The Truth" would be treason these days.

He really wasn't too much into pillaging once he took office, more Raping and Revenge.
One has to make their way through the mad parties and live then find a way to appease your host so he won't find a way to replace you with a horse.
