Fasten your seatbelts, and keep your arms within the vehicle, this is going to be a wild ride!!!

Quote

It's a wild night out on the planet of Kitson for the agents. While Fitz and Enoch try their luck at the casino, nearby, Daisy and Simmons find themselves in a much ... groovier situation.

So remember to tune in to ABC on Friday nights, True Believers, at 8pm Eastern/7pm Central to see what happens next.

Excelsior!!!

Strange how spacefaring civilizations all seem to have missed inventing the light bulb.  I wonder if there's some connection.

Soooo ... chronocons are from Gallifrey?    I mean, we have our Observers who aren't meant to interfere, save for the most extreme emergencies; then we have the Hunters who clean up any anamolies within the timeline.

Anyhow, I was underwhelmed by the casino; it could hardly compare to the major casinos of Vegas, much less those depicted in film.

OTOH, poor Enoch, he was rendered redundant by the other chronocons ... at least he had a friend in Fitz.

I confess, Daisy and Gemma tripping was amusing, and them bonding under the table brought a smile to my face.

And, yeah, to actually get within sight of each other, and recognize each other, only to have one immediately snatched away ... Fitz is right, the universe is plotting against Fitz-Simmons.

Then there's whatever Coulson is doing.

Yeah, the show's tight budget in its later seasons makes it hard to portray space interestingly, compared to what the movies can do. Last season, they wisely plotted the story to take place mostly within the Lighthouse, both in the future and the present, and made the limited number of sets work to their advantage.

Well, this was a pretty fun space adventure, even if it didn't address the lack of light bulb technology in spacefaring civilizations.  I hope nothing happens to Enoch, because he's a great addition to the cast and a great BFF for Fitz. His existential despair when he was decommissioned by the Chronitons, or whatever they are, was hilarious.

I also got a kick out of the Agents of STONED.  For a minute, I was afraid that the guy agent was going to be killed, but luckily they didn't go that route, leaving nothing to compromise the fun. Kind of cute that the girls were literally under the table.  And I loved Gemma aiming Daisy's quake blast for her.

And Gemma actually met a nice alien who was concerned for her well being-- so, of course, he got flattened by the cell door when Fitz escaped.  And, because nothing can be that easy on SHIELD, he was immediately kidnapped by the Chroniton Hunter with the ring-toss teleporter.   It looks like their journey ends never and their Star Trek will go on forever.

And, man, Fitz painting the cell door with the sulfurous blood of the dead alien's amputated arm....
