Aaand, the Reboot mind-frellery begins with the appearance of Beth (Kate's twin sister, and almost dead ringer for Alice) who seems to be oblivious to what had occurred during season 1, even while Alice is still very much present.
Admittedly, Kate Kane, like the other paragons, is still not quite upto speed on this Brave New World, but given that Mary was unaware of Beth yet fully aware of Alice and the possibility that Alice might be Beth and that Beth had vanished for 15 years ... this is a REALLY awkward development when one considers the implications. Basically, it was Beth's disappearance that was the raison d'etre for the whole Kane family drama.
Otherwise, I'm glad that Kate and Mary reconciled, and I actually liked the Hacker girl storyline. The media focusing on Batwoman's sex life after one of her exploits, not so much, but hey, I can believe it. And I confess that I liked that Batwoman opted not to play into the public's assumptions ... and the Hacker's response to the revelation.
I'm interested in whether or not the writers will actually bring the Hacker into Team Batwoman ... and hopefully they'll do the same with Mary, just because she deserves to know.
the G-man Himself
Let me strive every moment of my life to make myself better and better, to the best of my ability, so that all may profit by it.
Let me think of the right and lend my assistance to all who may need it, with no regard for anything but justice.
Let me take what comes with a smile, without loss of courage.
Let me be considerate of my country, of my fellow citizens, and my associates in everything I say and do.
Let me do right to all, and wrong no man. -- Doc Savage
