Looks like Charlie is posing as Constantine.  And is that her former band, The Smell?

Nora didn't have a normal childhood, so she certainly missed all the high school stuff like prom.  Looks like she gets to have fun!

"Another world saving singalong."  LOL Constantine!

Ava and her podcast about serial killers! :D

So now they are going to work on redeeming the encores too, not just the big villains!  Interesting!

Though, since many of them are historic figures, some of those would have a bigger impact on history than others.  Changing those might have ... extra consequences. ;)

And I love that Nora is using her traumatic background to help others overcome their own.  So powerful.

And it's so nice that she gets to really make a difference as a fairy godmother, and not just be forced to indulge spoiled brats (as it seemed to her for a while).

So, Zari is beginning to remember something, even though she doesn't realize that is what's happening.  But any version of Zari is resourceful, and she will still fight off a serial killer!  :ninjapooh:

Although, the time travel part hasn't quite sunk in yet.  Things like: no, there's no cell service in 1989! And, no one knows who you are, because you haven't been born yet!  :howling:

And I really loved what Behrad said to her at the end.  Yes, he gets all their parents' attention, and whether he is right or wrong about their reasons, at least *he* sees her accomplishments as important and worthy! :nods:

So Mick has a girlfriend now!  He deserves some happiness, and I think he is finally ready for a mature relationship.  Probably for the first time in his life.

Though, this being a time ship, nothing is that simple.   Remember, this was 2020 Mick with 2004 Ali!  This could get ... confusing... :freakoutnonny:

And ... Finally we have Constantine and Charlie!

Not only do we see what Charlie has been up to the last few weeks (hanging out as Constantine, and entertaining *assorted guests*), but we get a hint as to the backstory of Constantine, Astra, and Astra's mother!

So Astra's mother is a dead witch!  Why is she locked behind a door?  Just what *did* happen all those years ago??!?!?  Stay tuned!

SFG

Ps, Nitpick: this was clearly a case of a "spree killer" not a "serial killer", but who cares, right? :hehe:

Ah, back to the 80s for a run-in with an unstoppable supernatural serial killer named Freddy Meyers whose mother was the original killer. I'm sure this must be an homage to something or other, but I can't possibly imagine what.

And apparently none of these folks watch movies, because the obvious twist that the killer was a different person completely eluded them-- including Ava, whose podcast is apparently not as trustworthy as we are led to believe.

And this time when they changed history, pretty much the only thing that changed in the present was the presence of the killer.  Not only would the Legends not even have been present that night, but twenty-one years of ripple effects could have pretty far-ranging consequences.  And those ripples would definitely grow into tsunamis when dealing with historical characters of great impact. But now I don't understand why Zari and Nate were changed by changes in the timeline when nobody in this timeline was (aside from Mick not being crisped).

And let me see:  Mick and his girlfriend were Class of 1989, so they're 48 years old now, ten years younger than me. At their 15th reunion in 2004, they would be 33 years old. But the Mick at the reunion is the 48-year-old version from 2020.  So he would actually be a little old for her at this point.

And I think I see what you mean about Zari, SFG, since it seems that they are starting to rehabilitate her.  She had a flashback-- or flashover, I guess-- to her alternate life and also got a taste of heroism when she saved those kids.  And there was one little private moment there where she seemed to reveal a hidden distaste for her life being a "void."

And in our other plot, Constantine is about to face a dead witch, who is the mother of the person he accidentally sent to Hell-- at least he didn't have to eat anything gross to get his meeting with her.

This show is pretty flexible with the rules of time travel. :)

Like I said, complicated.   But yes, you are exactly right, and one problem could be that if Ali runs into past Mick, he would likely blow her off.  Mick has probably had the most character growth out of everyone on the show.  Past Mick was ... pretty messed up.

Also I have heard some rumors about where this is going, but I will wait and that happen. ;)

  I think starting where they did with Zari allowed room for the most character growth.  :)

They should come up with some glib explanation for why that is so, preferably delivered by a mysterious cosmic character played by Scott Bakula.  "There are not just three dimensions of space, but also three of time...."

I'm guessing that encounter is inevitable then.
