His next move will be to arrest his opponents, and declare the November election either cancelled or invalid. The day that happens, America becomes a dictatorship. Criticism will no longer be safe.
At that time, there will be two options to remain safe: remain silent, or flee the country. I recommend anyone with the option to flee, do so. I do not have that option, and I must remain safe, for my children. As such, at that time I will delete all my personal public postings, here and elsewhere.
Those of you who choose safety, or those who choose less-safe paths, God be with you. I hope to see you on the other side.

I'm more the hide out in my ivory tower in an open minded, socialist country and fight with my keyboard type.
It is apparent that Trump is trying to run a dictatorship. What does he have on folks that make them so afraid of him?
He is only human as well as being diagnosed as a narcissist slowly loosing his cognitive abilities. He is known for being one of forerunners in the game of who can tell the most lies. He also behaves like a snake oil salesman at a two bit Carney.
I'm thinking the underage sex trade slaves are his key to power. Not saying we should lower the age of consent but encourage those who have been victimized to speak out. This is happening BTW. Prince Andrew is in big do do over his romance with a 15 year old. She got too old to be trap bait and is now on a champagne to right these wrongs. Her US pimp just died in jail BTW. Somehow he managed to kill himself while on suicide watch?
Let this crime against children be known if you want to take this fight into the arena of public opinion.
Even if it is all some trumped up conspiracy, fighting lies with lies is fair play. It's a matter of how much you treasure your scruples and to what end will your lies lead to.
Just remember to compose all your assumptions with a question mark at the end. We still have free speech, and can not be persecuted for asking questions.

In addition to fight or flight,
There is also freeze, & comply (fawn, tend, befriend).
All fall under involuntary instinctual response to immediate threats.
All have worked enough for our ancestors enough times in the past that these traits survived to the present day.
Though in ongoing slow-moving threats people more purposefully use them to determine how they will respond.
Depending on their goal (simply or strictly survival, or something else?), and how best to pursue it in the conditions they live under. One may also give the appearance of doing one, while doing another under the radar.

Middle-aged woman exclaims, on hearing about Buttigieg's sexual orientation, "Oh, we can't have someone like THAT in the White House . . . "
And I thought attitudes like that went out in the 60's. Silly me.
. . . and how did someone from the 60's manage to grow up to be an old biddy such as you used to see in the 50's?
The mind boggles.

So there's a GOP precedent for Twitler's behaviour.
