Sooo … thoughts:
I’m glad Mary is at last in on the secret, but I do lament that she had to figure it out as opposed to being brought in by Kate & Co.
I’m glad that Kate reminded Alice of ALL the chances she gave her, before that last disappointment. On the plus side, Alice (after putting her into peril) did save Mary, so there’s that, but, yeah … let’s have her deal with psycho-dad.
Sophie … I get that she’s supposed to be conflicted, but given her track record, I’m not a fan of hers, thus am rather opposed to any shipping between her and the protagonist.
Nocturna … finally, a new villain … pity that she proved so disposable. I’d like to see an expansion of the Batwoman Rogues Gallery beyond Alice and the Wonderland Gang. Although, I do have to wonder where she had learned to fight given what they told us of her upbringing. By rights Batwoman shouldn’t have had that much trouble fighting her hand-to-hand … I get they’re trying to provide excitement, but I think they need to vary how villains would choose to fight Batwoman.
Then there’s Joshua Kane … such a disappointment, and after the antics of the Crows, I can’t help but think that the city ought to rein them in. Unfortunately, GCPD remains largely absent in these episodes.
The G-man Himself
Let me strive every moment of my life to make myself better and better, to the best of my ability, so that all may profit by it.
Let me think of the right and lend my assistance to all who may need it, with no regard for anything but justice.
Let me take what comes with a smile, without loss of courage.
Let me be considerate of my country, of my fellow citizens, and my associates in everything I say and do.
Let me do right to all, and wrong no man. -- Doc Savage
