In an interview with Mecha Anime HQ, Bandai's Jerry Chu repeated Bandai's ongoing comitment to the Gundam franchise and stated that, while a Broadcast date has not been set, Gundam Seed Destiny is licensed and they will begin production on the DVDs soon. They're looking to release it, "soon."
Bandai also plans to release the Gundam Seed compilation movies on DVD this summer. Additional animation (not seen in the series), as well as the Gundam Seed epilogue, will be include with the movies.
In the interview, Chu also discusses at length certain aspects of the current status of the North American anime industry.
