QUOTE In an interview with Mecha Anime HQ, Bandai's Jerry Chu repeated Bandai's ongoing comitment to the Gundam franchise and stated that, while a Broadcast date has not been set, Gundam Seed Destiny is licensed and they will begin production on the DVDs soon. They're looking to release it, "soon." Bandai also plans to release the Gundam Seed compilation movies on DVD this summer. Additional animation (not seen in the series), as well as the Gundam Seed epilogue, will be include with the movies. In the interview, Chu also discusses at length certain aspects of the current status of the North American anime industry. This is wonderful news. They're really starting to crank out the Gundam. Soon! Soon we'll have Lunamaria goodness. Rommie -------------------- |

Yes, but now it's been picked up by Bandai USA for Region 1 distribution. I couldn't be happier. Now if they'll just hurry up and get Gundam ZZ released.

So Gundam Seed Destiny is the sequel to regular Gundam Seed? If so, glad to hear that someone on this side of the Pacific has got hold of it. Maybe YTV will put this show on after "Seed" finishes.

That depends on how quickly Ocean can get GSD dubbed. They're good, but if they want it done that quickly, they'd most likely have to push back a title or two on their schedule.

Well Canada is quite a bit behind the U.S. airings (Kevin would have to tell us what episode they're on but the Cartoon Network will air 45 of 50 this Friday) but I agree with Rommie that it is unlikely they could get GSD on-air that fast. However, you never know
