Stargate season 10 predictions anyone?

Now as time moves on and we have lost Jack to RDA's real life, does anyone think there is any chance for the two? Will the writers "jump the shark" and finally give us what we've been waiting for? Or will sam find someone new? agent barret perhaps?
These questions constantly plague my mind, so I wanted to know what everyone else thinks...

One of my favorite comics has the team discovering the furlings who turn out to be the "we like the moon" hamsters
I guess I wouldn't mind if nothing happended between Jack and sam. BUt I wish that they would atleast close that story line. They just havn't mentioned it lately. It was certainly there at the end of the 8th season. But then they just dropped it which is kinda annoying

After all, they are no longer working together so why not? Does everything have to be up there on the screen?

As for predictions ... hmmm, I think we'll see a confrontation between Vala's husband, Daniel and Vala (not that this was her fault), from which much hilarity shall ensue.

I do see a lot more internationalization of Stargate Command, with Russian and Chinese teams. Also I hope that they allow Claudia Black to have a lot of fun with Vala as she has been a breath of fresh air to the show...

As for the furlings. I am pretty sure that I was reading on one of the writer's blog that they finally wanted to bring them to life. Although I would be sad if they didn't meet my expectations.
I agree that they will start to internationalize the program. But everytime that happens something goes wrong. How many Russian teams have we killed? How many times have the Russians messed up with their own gate? How many times has the Russian government been overtaken by the Goa'uld. In general I don't think the writers like other countries

Actually, Jack is still Sam's boss in a sense -- he's the head of Homeworld Security, which in turn is in charge of the SGC.
RDA will only appear in a few episodes, so while they may hint at a relationship yet again, but I doubt anything permanent will happen. If they did, that would mean Sam was "tied down" storywise, so they wouldn't be able to play around with the "all the guys fall for Sam" thing without the shippers going batty. Though I guess if Vala's going to be around, maybe they'll make her the target of male attention.
Personally, I wish they'd just get the hell over the Sam/Jack thing, because having two middle aged people acting like clueless teenagers is way beyond old. I'm starting to think the only reason the writers keep bringing it up is simply because they've been repeatedly told they can't because of the USAF regs. But while there's still regs to deal with on the show, in fanfic, shippers can knock themselves out. It's not like slashers have ever cared one whit about canon "proving" anything, but for some reason some SG-1 shippers have become fixated on seeing it onscreen. Never understood that myself, as getting it onscreen means it's taken out of fan "control" in a sense. You can write "first time" stories a bazillion times, but once things go down in canon instead of fanon, it takes some cards out of play for the fanfic writer. Or at least for some who don't like outright contradicting canon.
I have mixed feelings about RDA's return. I love the idea in theory, but if they waste his time on nothing but shippy moments and over-the-top bad humor, I think it would be better to cling to my memories of Jack than to watch him deteriorate even further.
