B5TV.com is reporting that Andrea Thompson, formerly of B5 but also of CNN (and ex-wife of B5's Jerry Doyle) is joining "24" next season as a member of CTU.

Which, of course, is exactly what I've come to expect from my "24". Droolworthy blondes galore (Elisha Cuthbert, Kiefer Sutherland, Sarah Wynter, and now Ms. Thompson) and all my favourite scifi bit players in one place!

I say let's get Jack Bauer's next long day started already.

Wow. She doesn't stay in one place for long. I remember when she left NYPD Blue for CNN. It will be interesting to see her in the 24 cast.

Her NYPD Blue character irritated the everliving heck outa me.... Nor was I impressed with her 'reporting'. Maybe she will show a noteworthy character in '24'. Remains to be seen.
