I got a little curious last night, and worked on this throughout the day. It's a little banner I put together, signifying my anime addiction. ;)

I was going to put it in my sig, but I'm not sure about the filesize. What do you think? :eh:

Rommie it is wonderfully done, and I know what you had to go through finding and placing each character on that background.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{ Shal }}}}}}}}}}}}}

Thanks Shal.

As she said, it was an intricate process. Taking the original blue banner, and then adding layers on top of that, with the little anime guys. Not to mention, editing each anime icon, so I could transparency the background.

Took me about 6 hours total work on it.

*Phew*

I say it was well worth the effort and you should put it in your sig if the file size allows, it's wonderfully done.

The banner looks great Rommie

Though on the whole anime addiction thing: Heroine would be cheaper (at least around here, A fushigi Yugi DVD costs morethen a pound of the stuff!! :eek2:  :eek2:  )

Thats why i never got into anime, the cash factor...

Dude, it has Link in it. That alone testifies to it's coolness. :D

IRT to the rest of it: Very well done. :)

(6 hours? I sure hope it fits! :ninja: )

I am not even going to ask you how you know how much Heroin costs, bandit, but I'll take your word for it.

As for Fushigi Yugi, I have not heard of it, which means it's probably not a mainstream title, signifying why it costs so much. Generally I pay around 24.99 to 29.99 for a DVD. More if it's for a collection. But it's a hobby and a vice that I can live with. I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs, so Anime is my one vice. :)

Six hours. Ya sure, yabetcha. ;)

I spent two hours the first night working on the first frame. Then I spent another two hours the next afternoon, fiddling with the first frame, and then doing the second one. Then last night, I spent another two hours working on the last frame.

The hardest part was editing the original icons for these things, so I could transparency the background. Allow me to show you.

Posted Image This is the Yuri pic that I edited for the second frame. And as you can see in the banner, it has been heavily edited. The hardest one I think though, was Wing Gundam on the second frame.

Zoiks, Yo!

I'm sorry bandit, I didn't mean to imply that you did. I unfortunately made it come across that way. I forgot to put a ';)' after my statement.

I don't do them either, but with the people I know, I could probably find out the cost myself. ;)

Wow nice job! You're just oozing with talent there good sir! :) I like it very much. First you get me so deep into Farscape (still lovin' it) and now I am getting books on how to draw anime. :D What have you done to me :) Just kidding. I am having fun learning how to draw in anime style. Kind of hard getting out of the "Marvel" drawing style though. But I am getting there :)

Why thank you Akaras, you flatter me more than I deserve.

I am simply glad that people have liked the shows that I have recommended to them. Whether it's Anime, Firefly, Farscape, or X-Play on TechTV. Sharing stuff like that, just makes me happy. :)

You did a very good job on that banner, Rommie! I've done similar image work, and I know it takes a lot of hard work and effort. :)

Can't say I'm an anime fan, but it's still pretty cool looking! :) And I can understand such addictions... ;)
